Here, I'm going to put apart few of those parts I've mentioned in this blog.

- Intel Q9550
- HIS ATi 4870 1GB DDR3
- Gigabyte G31M-ES2L
- Cooler Master Z600
- Cooler Master CM690
- Gigabyte Superb 720
- Seagate 500GB HDD
- 2x2GB Corsair XMS2

Here's the first Pic where I built the Micro ATX Board onto the giant CM690 Casing.
The Board is small compared to this casing, since CM690 is a Mid Tower ATX Case. Slightly feeling it's wasted on this case now. Wahaha.

Now for the first thing. In goes the Processor first. Intel Q9550.

2 piece of Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 800 Ram.

Z600! In goes it. A giant stomping on the small platform.

Below, here is a few pics of where I've plant the 4870 onto this board.

Look at the pic above, only the Z600 and 4870 Card, and the board is like totally buried under already. haha.

Below, you can see the cable management system in work.
And how it looks with the side panel on.
And also how big the Z600 is ... >_>

And lastly, below is the Picture view of the CM690 front panel's LED fan and the Z600 Led fan from side view.

HIS ATi HD 4870 1GB DDR3

This is one awesome card. Worth well around BND$400.00 and above on the market here.
Boasting an awesome performance, this card also carries 1GB of DDR3. DDR3 is twice as fast as DDR2, so with 256bit of DDR3 is comparable to 512bit of DDR2, which we don't see on any cards around. haha.

Check the pic below out, look at the back plate of the card. Sexy. Black plate with gold colored DVIs.

Cooler Master Z600 - CPU Cooler

This cooler is amazing. It has good reviews all around the net.
This cooler is only for the CPU, and is extremely huge. If your casing is any smaller than an ATX, you won't be able to cover your side panel.

Just looking at the box and you'd know this guy is huge. Lets walk through and see what's inside the box.

The box is impressive, very well build and designed. Look at how it breaks apart from the Picture above to the Picture on the Right. All colored in a classy color of white matching the exterior of the box.

From the pic, you can see the LED 120mm Fan and the Z600 Heatsink itself.

Opening up the box, revealing 2 hidden compartments oO ... nice! Hidden inside it, quite a few tools you'll need in fitting this guy to your board.

And here is a shot of the main thing, Z600!
Heh, it don't look big on all these pic eh? Haha. Let me show you a pic that will prove to you that this little guy is actually quite big ...

This is a Z600 fitted on to a MicroATX board from earlier post sitting in the corner of a CM690 Casing. Haha. See the difference there in size? Makes the board feel puny, hehe.

Gigabyte G31M-ES2L Mobo

Gigabyte low end mother board Gigabyte G31M-ES2L.
Only low end I see is no UD (Ultra Durable Design), G31 Chipset, Micro ATX, and only a few slot of everything ... Other than that, this board ain't that bad.

Besides that, you'll only find SATA Cable, IDE Cable, floppy cable and the I/O faceplate for the rear of the casing. No stickers, no goodies, unlike the higher end boards :)

With G31 Chipset, you get GMA 3100 which performs quite well really.
Supports 7.1 HD Audio too.
Gigabit LAN ... SATA II ...
And you're also able to fit a 1333FSB Proc on it.
Overclock it and you'd be able to fit 1600FSB oO ...

Looking at it this way, you can use this board for numerous things if you don't clock.

But do take note, that there is no FireWire on this board.
And you're also not able to use the software provided by Gigabyte fully as this board lacks a few kicks of a feature from their higher end boards.

Intel Q9550 (SLAWQ) Proc

Here is a processor that I've never dreamt of buying it myself with a budget request like that.

A dreamy 12MB L2 Cache and 4 monstrous core running at 2.83GHz running on 1333 FSB, this processor must cost a leg. At this posting right now, the processor cost over BND $500.00 on the market, although I can get a better price >_>

Although it's drooling, the price is now too close to an i7 920 processor. So it does give some a thought about building a PC with this proc.

Too bad I can't get a good shot at the proc. Really hard to capture it with it's reflective surface.

Cooler Master CM690

This casing is nice. Looks good and is really sturdy too. It boast screwless, but it didn't mention you'll still need to screw the mother board and PSU in. Haha. Well, so do the others that boast the same screwless too ofcuz.

So far I've been told, there is 2 type of CM690 spotted around. One is with the USB in the front, and another has it's USB on top of the casing. Check the few pictures around. The one I have here has it's USB slots on the top. There's also a slot for Firewire connection and eSata connection. So if you want to use them, make sure your motherboard actually supports these.

Take note that the front USB version occupies a slot in the front and does not add to it's aesthetics.

The front and top is fully grilled. and the whole casing comes with 3 fans to begin with.
The bottom front is fitted with a 120mm Blue LED fan.
The rear is also fitted with a 120mm fan, but no LED lights.
The side panel is also fitted with a 120mm fan, but no LED lights too.

Although the thought of having all 3 120mm from stock is nice, but that ain't nothing to this casing. This casing has slots to accommodate up to 7 fans to boot.

Looking at the picture above, you can see the screwless designs for your Optical Drives and HDDs. It's practically just, plug it in and lock. Simple as that.

It also comes with cable management which I find quite efficient in routing my cables around the inside of the casing.

All in all, I'd say this casing is very user friendly indeed.
Easy to build with and comes with everything you'd need already, even the needless screws if you noticed it on one of my pictures. Supports Water Cooling Solutions (See picture too). Lots of space inside to work with and awesomely sexy to boot.

Only one thing you'll notice that's hard to do ... the front cover.
In 2 separate occurrence where one of them is mine ... when you open the front cover, it's hard like hell and once you managed to open it, *SNAP!*, the person next to you is gonna ask you if you've broken it ...

Gigabyte Superb 720

Gigabyte Superb 720 PSU

This is more of the standard PSU you'll find around.
Only difference is it's branded in Gigabyte.

The finishing of the PSU is quite nice, nothing less of a branded product.
Being branded atleast by Gigabyte, it ensures that although it's a lower end PSU, it's still very well made and stable.

The cables are all sleeved too and it comes with one huge 120mm fan with good ventilation grill the side pictured above.

* Active PFC, high efficiency power circuit design, 80+ certified
* 3-rail, 12V+ design, capable of supplying higher power output
* Over-voltage, over-current, under-voltage and short – circuit protection
* 12cm cooling fan, low noise silent design with Auto fan speed control
* Reliable Japan-made main capacitor
* Environment friendly, Complying with RoHS & WEEE regulations
* PCI-E 2.0 Support. With sleeved cable for better cooling performance
* SLI certified

Weighing around 2KG for this thing. But weight usually also equals quality.
